A variety of vitamins — including Kirkland brand tablets — are being recalled due to a risk of metal fibres in the product.
Health Canada released three safety alerts on Friday to warn consumers that 20 vitamin products were being recalled.
Among the affected brands are Webber Naturals, Natural Factors and Costco’s Kirkland Signature.
Consumers should verify if their product is included in the recall and consult with their healthcare provider before they stop using the vitamins. If they have any questions they can contact the recall firm.
They should also report any related side effects or product safety complaints to Health Canada.
