Exciting news for Little Monsters of Toronto.
On Monday, Lady Gaga announced “The Mayhem Ball,” a world tour that includes two stops at Scotiabank Arena on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11.
“I wasn’t planning to tour this year after my shows in Singapore but the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going,” Gaga wrote on social media. “We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can’t in stadiums — and honestly, I can’t wait.”
“This show is designed to be the kind of theatrical and electrifying experience that brings MAYHEM to life exactly how I envision it,” she added.”
Tickets for the show go on sale on Thursday, April 3, but fans can sign up with Ticketmaster to join the artist presale now.
Gaga’s tour arrives just weeks after the release of her sixth album, “Mayhem.” Featuring the hit single “Abracadabra,” the album received positive reviews, with many critics describing it as a triumphant return to the style of synth-pop that first made the American a star in the mid-2000s.
Last year, Gaga starred in the 2024 jukebox musical “Joker: Folie à Deux.” The film was poorly received by critics and was considered a box office failure.
The last time Gaga visited Toronto was in the summer of 2022, when she played Rogers Centre during her world tour in support of her album “Chromatica.”
