Two hundred guests gathered in February to celebrate the opening of Abraham Reyes’ “Beneath the Surface” exhibition at Toronto’s Avant Garde gallery, where they had the opportunity to see the world’s largest natural pearl, the Giga Pearl. Reyes’ pieces challenge traditional views of beauty and rarity, focusing on natural wild pearls and gems. The exhibition redefined the display of precious stones by integrating them into artworks.
