President Donald Trump wants to use taxpayer funds to buy plane tickets and pay immigrants to leave America or as he called it, “self-deport.”
In a taped interview with Fox Noticias that aired Tuesday, the president of people who wear Air Force Ones way past their expiration date noted that he wanted immigrants who have entered the country illegally to “self-deport” and get those who are “good” back into the country (whatever that means.)

Trump, who campaigned on a pledge to carry out mass deportations, said in a taped interview with Fox Noticias that aired Tuesday that his administration is focused right now on getting “murderers” out of the country. But for others in the U.S. illegally, he said, he’s going to implement “a self-deportation program.”
Trump offered few details about the plan, including timing, but said the U.S. would provide immigrants airfare and a stipend.
“We’re going to give them a stipend. We’re going to give them some money and a plane ticket, and then we’re going to work with them — if they’re good — if we want them back in, we’re going to work with them to get them back in as quickly as we can,” Trump said.
Fox Noticias interviewer Rachel Campos-Duffy — who was a member of “The Real World: San Francisco” cast and is married to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, from the “The Real World: Boston” –– I hate everything), played a clip of a Mexican man who she noted came to America illegally but has lived in the country over 20 years and has children who are American citizens.
Campos-Duffy didn’t state whether the man was legally allowed to be in the country. Still, she noted that the man can’t vote, but if he could’ve, he would’ve voted for Trump because the white gaze is powerful, and nothing says, “American” like making it to this country only to ensure that other immigrants cannot.
Campos-Duffy then played a clip of the man claiming that he agreed with Trump and if an immigrant commits a crime, he should be sent back to their home country.
“I look at this man. I say, this is a guy that we want to keep,” Trump replied, AP reports. “I’ll probably take heat for saying it.”
Of course Trump would want to keep this man, as this man is full of Trump Kool-Aid. Dictators love to be worshipped. And as long as you kiss the ring, then they generally have no problem with you. It is control through intimidation, and a very weird case of Stockholm syndrome.
Trump then added that he didn’t “think he’s in any danger of” being deported. He then said that he wanted to find a way to help farmers who have lost workers because they are afraid of being deported and noted that maybe he could recommend people to fill positions and it all sounded very nefarious as if there was going to be some kind of indentured servitude happening but I admit, that I’m not fond of this president and could be reading into it a bit.
Trump claimed that he ultimately wants to create a system in which those in the U.S. illegally would leave the country and then come back with legal permission, AP reports.
“We’re doing a self-deportation and we’re going to make it comfortable for people,” he said. “And we’re going to work with those people to come back into our country legally.”
Let me make sure I clear this up for anyone reading who may not understand what Trump is saying: if you “self-deport,” there is no way in hell you’re coming back. Hell, many people who were here legally have been deported and you know who doesn’t care? The Trump administration.
