Early voting seems to have gotten off to a rocky start in the Ottawa area.
A growing number of voters are posting complaints on social media about delays of more than an hour at some of the polling stations.
One voter who went to the advance poll for Ottawa Centre at 523 St. Anthony St. reported a “Lineup nearly 2 hours long and people are walking out — in fact, most of the movement in the line is from people giving up and leaving.”
Complaints have been made about the stations in Stittsville and Westgate Shopping Centre, among others.
