Ding ding ding, a new rap beef might’ve just kicked off after DDG went off on Waka Flocka Flame during an Instagram Live.
The drama started when Waka dropped a couple comments under DDG’s IG posts that rubbed him the wrong way. One of the posts showed DDG in Tokyo rockin’ some wild oversized flared pants, and Waka jumped in the comments saying, “WTF you doin lil bra.” DDG wasn’t feelin’ it at all. “That boy Waka Flocka low-key on dck, that sht be pissing me off,” he said on Live.
“Quit speaking on me.” He kept it real about how fake it felt to get love in person, but shade online. “Why you commenting on everything I do negative, but in person you tryna be all cool and sht? I hate when ni**as be on that sht,” he said. “Ni**a trippin, you can’t dress like me, ni**a. Old ni**as always hatin’.”
So far, Waka hasn’t clapped back, and it’s not clear if he even meant to diss DDG like that. Might’ve been playful to him, but DDG ain’t take it that way at all. He clearly felt disrespected and called it out.
It ain’t full-blown beef just yet, but it’s definitely got people talkin’. Between style, ego, and the generational gap in Hip-Hop, this could either blow over quick or heat up even more. Guess we’ll see if Waka got somethin’ to say next.
