Runners — and anyone else — attending Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend on Sunday, May 25 can get an early jump if they take the LRT.
Trains on lines 1 and 2 will start running earlier than usual, at 5 a.m., on the Sunday of race weekend, OC Transpo said in a memo to council Monday.
- O-Train Line 1 trains will begin running between Tunney’s Pasture and Blair
stations starting at 5 a.m., three hours before service normally starts and two hours
before the marathon’s start time at 7 a.m. - O-Train Line 2 trains will begin running between Limebank and Bayview stations
starting at 5 a.m., two-and-a-half hours before service normally starts. - O-Train Line 4 trains will run their normal Sunday schedule between Airport and
South Keys stations from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
The memo stated that Saturday service would run on the normal schedule.
