Police are investigating an incident where a man was stabbed during an alleged robbery near Chinatown.
At about 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Ottawa police responded to reports of a man who had been stabbed on a sidewalk along Eccles Street. He was sent to the hospital by Ottawa paramedics with life-threatening injuries.
Eccles Street is located between Little Italy and Chinatown.
In a news release on June 25, Ottawa police confirmed that one suspect was currently in custody. No further updates have been provided.
