A man in his late teens was found late Thursday night in the Bayshore area with gunshot wounds, say Ottawa Police.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Woodridge Crescent at about 11:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting and found the man suffering from gunshot wounds.
“He was stabilized by paramedics and taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition,” Marc-Antoine Deschamps, superintendent of public information at the Ottawa Paramedic Service.
The investigation is ongoing.
