The OPP were searching for a man after a boating incident on the St. Lawrence River near Kingston on Monday.
Emergency crews responded to the scene near Milton Island after a report that a man had fallen from a boat, hit his head on the propeller and did not resurface, the OPP said in a news release.
The OPP Marine Unit was conducting a search with support from the Canadian Coast Guard and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
