The show went on at Ottawa Bluesfest on Saturday during what Environment Canada labelled as a heat warning.
The federal weather agency said extreme heat and humidity was expected to continue in the Ottawa region through next Thursday, with daytime high temperatures of 29 C to 32 C and overnight low temperatures still in the range of 19 C to 23 C.
Ottawa Bluesfest has another evening of entertainment scheduled for Sunday, but then goes quiet for two nights before resuming performances on Wednesday.
Here are some photos from the early part of the evening on Saturday.
