Police seek witnesses to Metcalfe-area assault on Aug. 5

Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to identify suspects in an Aug. 5 assault in the 8300 block of Forest Green Crescent in the Metcalfe neighbourhood.

The incident took place at about 7:30 p.m., when the victim was working in his garage and was approached and assaulted by three suspects.

The suspects wore masks and black clothing and fled in a dark-coloured pickup truck.

Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash camera video from the area. Specifically, they are seeking video from 8th Line Road between Mitch Owens Road and Pana Road between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 5.
