A three-vehicle collision at Carling Avenue and Moodie Drive on Sunday afternoon sent three people to hospital.
Ottawa Fire Services said it took a call from the Ottawa Police Service about the collision at 4:44 p.m., with reports stating that one person was trapped inside a vehicle.
After arriving at the scene, firefighters stabilized the vehicle before an extrication process began at 4:53 pm. That procedure was completed six minutes later.
An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said three units responded to the scene, and that three people were taken to hospital in stable condition.
