The Stormont Dundas & Glengarry detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has released photos of a vehicle of interest as it continues to
investigate a fatal motorcycle crash
on July 6.
In a social-media post on Thursday, police said they were attempting to identify a black Honda Civic or Accord that had been seen nearby at the time of the crash at County Road 2 and Brodeur Road. Anyone with dashcam video of the area at that time was asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
A 23-year-old man from Quebec was found in a ditch beside County Road 2 in the Camerons Point area just before 9 p.m. on July 6, police had said previously. The rider was transported to hospital by Cornwall SDG paramedics in critical condition before being transferred to a regional trauma centre. He died less than a week later.
Witnesses had said that a car, described as a black Honda Civic or Accord, was driven dangerously in the area at the time of the crash. It was not known if this vehicle was involved in the collision, the police said at that time.
Camerons Point is about 120 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.
