Three men are being sought by the Ottawa Police Service in connection with a stabbing that left a fourth man injured on Bayshore Drive on Sept. 6.
In a media release issued Tuesday, police said officers had responded to the 1-100 block of Bayshore at about 4:15 p.m. that day to reports of a stabbing following a verbal altercation involving the four individuals.
Officers then located the injured man, and he was transported to hospital.
According to the media release, the injured man did not know the three suspects before the altercation.
Police also issued the following descriptions of the individuals it was seeking to identify:
- Suspect 1: a Middle Eastern man between 18 and 25 years old. At the time of the incident, he wore a red sweater, red athletic pants, white sneakers and a black tuque.
- Suspect 2: a Black man between 18 and 25 years old. He was wearing a black sweater with “ATLANTA” written across the back shoulders in white, black pants, a black tuque and black shoes.
- Suspect 3: a Black man between 18 and 25 years old. He was wearing a black sweater, black pants and black shoes.
