One year after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Quentin Dorsainvil, Ottawa police continue to seek information on the homicide.
Dorsainvil was fatally shot at the Centretown intersection of Nepean Street and Percy Street at around 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 15, 2024, after leaving a concert at the Bronson Centre, police said.
Investigators do not believe Dorsainvil was the intended target, police added.
They are looking to identify and speak with a woman they believe may have information relevant to the investigation.
She was described as a Black female in her 20s who at the time was wearing blue jeans, a pink bikini top and a silver choker-style necklace.
