Ontario Provincial Police are seeking public assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of statutory release.
Abdo Yussuf is described as Black, 34 years old, six feet three inches (193 centimetres) tall and weighing 251 pounds (114 kilograms) with black hair and brown eyes.
He is serving a two-year, five-month, 13-day sentence for possessing a prohibited firearm with ammunition, carrying a concealed weapon and failing to comply with an order.
“The offender is known to frequent the Ottawa area,” police said in a release.
Anyone having contact with Yussuf or information regarding his whereabouts was asked to contact the provincial R.O.P.E. Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll-free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE) or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or call 911.
