A 29-year-old man from The Nation Municipality was killed in a collision between his motorcycle and a car near St-Albert on Saturday afternoon.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the officers from the Russell County detachment responded to the collision site on Route 900 East at about 1:45 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene, an OPP media release said. No other injuries were reported.
Following the collision, Route 900 East was closed in both directions between Route 800 East and County Road 27 for several hours, but it was reopened to traffic later.
The investigation of the collision was continuing, police said.

St. Albert is about 65 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.
