Ottawa police searching for missing 28-year-old woman

The Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help as they look for 28-year-old Belinda Oqallak, who went missing Sunday morning.

She was last seen in the area of Richmond Road and Carling Avenue at about 10 a.m.

Oqallak was described by police as Indigenous, 5-3 with a slim build and short black hair. She has bandage over her left eye and was last seen wearing a black knee-length puffy jacket, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to contact the West District staff desk at 613-236-1222, extension 2912.
