The Ottawa police have asked for help from the public as they look for 16-year-old Curtis Nkwemi.
The teenager was last seen Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the area of Invention Boulevard and March Road, police said in a news release.
Nkwemi was described as Black and 5-8 with an athletic build. He has short black hair and was wearing a red soccer jersey with the No. 32 on the back, a black T-shirt underneath it, black shorts, black sneakers and a water bottle waist belt.
Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Nkwemi was asked to call police at 613-236-1222. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca .
