A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed near Cabbagetown.
Toronto police were called to Wellesley and Bleecker streets around 9:45 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.
The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect fled the scene, according to police.
