Ottawa police are investigating reports of shots being fired in the city’s east end on Monday afternoon.
Police said they responded to the scene at the 1700 block of Russell Road shortly after 2:30 p.m. and determined that there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
Criminal and forensic investigators examined the crime scene, police said on
social media
.
A police spokesperson did not provide any information on whether anyone was in custody following the incident.
