WASHINGTON – Eric Poole walked down Washington’s iconic Pennsylvania Avenue wearing a bright red shirt with the words: “Dear Canada, we hate him too.”
He was among huge crowds of people who gathered near the U.S. Capitol for a “No Kings” rally in Washington today to protest the actions of the Trump administration.
Similar demonstrations took place across the United States including Boston, Chicago and New York City.
Republican leaders have called it a “Hate America rally,” labelling attendees as communists and Marxists.
Carol Miller held and sign depicting President Donald Trump as a baby in a crown.
She says the pace of changes since Trump returned to office in January has been rapid and head-spinning.
