Carney says meeting with Xi marks turning point in Canada-China relationship

GYEONGJU – Prime Minister Mark Carney walked away from a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday with an invitation to China, but no movement on the trade issues that have plagued the relationship.

Still, Carney said he was “very pleased” with the outcome.
