Manitoba releases report on artificial intelligence, eyes hosting more data storage

WINNIPEG – The Manitoba government is looking at having more data storage and cloud computing infrastructure based in the province.

Having local data centres and web-based services, instead of relying on those offered by Microsoft and Google in the United States, is recommended in a new report on the future of innovation and technology in Manitoba.
