MONTREAL – It’s municipal election day across Quebec’s roughly 1,100 municipalities.
Polls are open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time.
Most voters have already received cards in the mail indicating where they can vote.
To take part, voters must bring two pieces of valid ID, such as their driver’s licence or health insurance card.
They can also vote with two documents showing their name alongside a photo or their address and date of birth.
Élections Quebec says voters must be registered on Quebec’s electoral list, and can verify whether they are on its website.
