Justin Bieber nabs multiple Grammy nominations for 'Swag,' including album of the year; Full list of nominees

Its track “Daisies” earned a best pop solo performance nomination, while another song, “Yukon,” is among the best R&B performance contenders.

Bieber is one of several homegrown superstars in the running at the music industry’s biggest awards show.

Toronto duo PartyNextDoor and Drake got a nod for best melodic rap performance for “Somebody Loves Me,” from their collaborative album “Some Sexy Songs 4 U.”

And Calgary’s Tate McRae landed a best dance pop recording nod for “Just Keep Watching” from the Brad Pitt Formula 1 racing drama “F1.”

Other leading Canadian nominees included seven-time contender Cirkut, the Halifax-raised producer born Henry Walter who is chasing non-classical producer of the year.

He’s also in the running for album of the year for Lady Gaga’s “Mayhem,” and is named twice in each of the categories for song of the year and record of the year for his work on Gaga’s “Abracadabra” and “Apt.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars.

Canadian producer Serban Ghenea is all over the record of the year category with nominations for his work on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild,” “Abracadabra” and “APT.”

Ghenea is also up for album of the year for his work on “Man’s Best Friend” and “Mayhem,” and named in the best dance pop recording category for mixing Gaga’s “Abracadabra.”

Kendrick Lamar emerged as the leading nominee overall.

Lamar’s nine nominations for his album “GNX” are part of a wave of hip-hop albums competing in the Grammys’ top categories, including Tyler, the Creator’s “Chromakopia” and “Let God Sort Em Out” from Clipse, Pusha T and Malice.

Other top nominees, announced Friday, include Lady Gaga, producer Jack Antonoff and Sabrina Carpenter.

The Grammys will be handed out Feb. 1 in Los Angeles.
