Casa Loma masquerade ball raises $550,000 for kids' communications programs

Toronto business leaders, philanthropists, and members of the city’s social scene converged on Casa Loma for the 4th Annual Masquerade Ball in support of the ComKids Foundation. The ball, which featured a live game of Clue, elegant performances and a DJ, raised more than $550,000 in support of ComKids’ mission to provide personally owned devices, digital literacy training, connectivity and mentorship to students in underserved communities. The event was co-chaired by founding ball chair Sarah Paterson, ComKids CEO Christi Himmelheber and board director Jay McCauley.
