The shakeup will see Christiane Fox, the deputy clerk of the Privy Council, become deputy minister of both the Department of National Defence and intergovernmental affairs, according to a press release. Chris Forbes, the deputy minister at the Department of Finance, will become a “senior official” at the Privy Council Office (PCO), and will be replaced at the Finance by Nick Leswick, an executive with the Bank of Canada.
