The Gatineau police are asking for assistance from the public as they look for a 49-year-old man who has been missing since the last day of 2025.
Philippe Lalonde was last seen on Dec. 31 when he reportedly left his residence on La Madeleine Street in Gatineau.
He could be in a hotel room somewhere in Gatineau, police said in a news release Monday, adding that they have reason to fear for his health and safety.
Lalonde was described as white, 5-8 with a slender build, blue eyes, long brown hair and a dark brown beard.
Anyone with information that could help police in the search for Lalonde was asked to contact the Gatineau police at 819-246-0222.
