Canada, the U.S. and Mexico had the most cases in the Americas in 2025 — 5,436 in Canada as well as two deaths, 2,242 in the U.S., with three deaths, Mexico with 6,428 including 24 deaths. The overall number in the Americas was 32 times higher than in 2024.
