The Gatineau Police Service on Wednesday requested public aid in locating a 17-year-old girl who had been listed as a missing person.
Emma Viau-Hickey was last seen at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday after leaving her residence on Cochrane Road in Gatineau on foot.
She was described as five feet one inch (1.55 metres) tall with a slim build and brown hair. She was last seen wearing colourful leggings and a pink sweater.
Anyone with information that could help locate her was asked to contact Gatineau police at 819-246-0222.
