1 man shot and killed by police in Mississauga

A man was shot and killed by police in Mississauga early Saturday morning.

Officers say the incident happened near Fifth Line and Dundas Street just after 2 a.m.

The circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting were not immediately clear, but Peel Regional Police said all officers involved were uninjured.

There are no outstanding suspects.

Ontario’s police watchdog said it is investigating the matter.
