Police in Peel Region are searching for a man following a stabbing in Brampton that has left one person with critical injuries.
Police say there was an altercation between two people inside a home in the area of McLaughlin Road South and Oakley Boulevard just after 4 p.m. Saturday.
A man in his 30s suffered critical injuries, according to police. He was taken to the hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
“The suspect is still outstanding,” a police spokesperson tells CityNews. “At this point, it all seems isolated to the two individuals and not a random incident.”
There was no immediate suspect description, but police say the two men are known to each other.
