One woman is dead and a second person was injured in a head-on collision on Carling Avenue near Moodie Drive Wednesday night.
Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesman Marc-Antoine Deschamps said the collision occurred at about 7:15 p.m.
Deschamps said the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
A man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
Carling Avenue was closed between Moodie Drive and Ullswater Drive Wednesday evening for the police investigation.
