LIFE is a four-year program, but there will be an opportunity for students to return after those four years are up, as well as a program that prepares students to enter the program, Derkach said. Maximum capacity is 24 students in the morning session and 24 in the afternoon, for a total of 48 students each term, said Derkach, who aims to reduce the therapist-to-participant ratio from the current 12-to-1 to 6-to-1.
