OPP probes fatal motorcycle crash near Perth

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a man was killed when a motorcycle he was riding crashed Friday night in Tay Valley Township.

Lanark County OPP were called at about 6:15 p.m. to the crash scene on Upper Scotch Line between Scotch Line and Allans Mill Road, west of Perth.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 43-year-old Carleton Place man, was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said Saturday the investigation remained ongoing.
