More trouble at east-end home, but no one injured in shooting incident

No one was injured in an east-end shooting incident on Beaconwood Drive in the early hours of Tuesday, April 14.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots heard in the 2100 block of Beaconwood at 2:39 a.m., Ottawa police said in a social media post, and they found bullet holes and shell casings after arriving at a residence.

According to police, there had also been an “incident” at the same residence at 10:15 p.m. on April 2.

The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating, and anyone with information that may help police, or anyone who may have pertinent video footage, was asked to contact the unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5050.
