A 25-year-old Ottawa man has been charged following a Saturday night
stabbing in the ByWard Market
.
The man has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, possessing a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
At about 11 p.m on April 11, Ottawa paramedics were called to William and George streets for a 30-year-old man with a stab wound in his chest. He was taken to the hospital is critical condition.
The Ottawa Police Service said on Monday the victim was in the hospital, in critical but stable condition.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
