A 56-year-old Arnprior man is dead after a single-vehicle collision on Highway 417 at Kinburn Side Road.
At about 6 a.m. on Friday, April 24, OPP officers responded to a report about the collision involving a vehicle that had been travelling westbound. Police found the vehicle in the ditch, and the lone occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s name was not released.
The Ottawa OPP detachment is investigating, with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigation members and a collision reconstructionist. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation was asked to contact the Ottawa OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
