Child airlifted to CHEO following south-end collision

Four people, including a child, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in a crash Friday morning at the junction of Nixon Drive and Dalmeny Road south of Osgoode.

Ottawa paramedics were called to the scene at about 7:30 a.m., paramedics spokesman Marc-Antoine Deschamps said Friday.

The child was airlifted to CHEO via Ornge air ambulance. Paramedics did not release the gender or age of the child victim.

As of mid-morning, the crash site remained closed for the police investigation.
