Montreal-area home sales down 8% in June as listings continue to rise: board

MONTREAL – Montreal-area home sales decreased 8.2 per cent year-over-year in June as the province’s real estate board says the supply of properties on the market rose for the 11th straight month.

The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers says 4,012 residential properties changed hands throughout the month in the Montreal census metropolitan area, down from 4,371 in June 2025.
