Police in Gatineau were investigating after a man in his 60s was stabbed in a confrontation in the city’s Hull district Saturday morning.
The confrontation occurred at about 10 a.m. in a residential area near the intersection of Lanctot and Chevalier streets, south of Mont Bleu Boulevard.
Police arriving at the scene found the victim bleeding heavily from stab wounds.
Paramedics were able to stabilize the man and transport him to hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Police said Saturday afternoon they had not established a firm cause for the confrontation.
