Onex Partners says it and a group of other co-investors have completed a previously announced acquisition of fractional jet ownership company AirSprint Inc.
The deal was initially announced in June, and the group of companies included Onex Partners, TriWest Capital Partners and other co-investors.
At the time, the companies announced the deal would help support AirSprint’s next phase of growth, including fleet expansion, operational enhancements, technology investments and strategic initiatives.
Onex says AirSprint’s founder and chairman Judson Macor remains invested in the company.
It says AirSprint president and CEO James Elian and certain other shareholders also remain invested in the company.
Calgary-based AirSprint operates a fractional fleet of private aircraft across Canada.
