Ottawa police are investigating after a fatal collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Highway 174 at Blair Road in the east end late Tuesday.
In a social media release, OPS said crews were called to the crash in the eastbound lanes shortly before 10 p.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was not identified.
The roadway was reopened at about 5 a.m.
Investigators are seeking anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of the incident.
