The biggest boy band in the world told fans in Toronto over the weekend that they got to hit the ice with the Blue and White.
BTS member RM revealed Saturday night at the first of two sold-out shows at Rogers Stadium that he and fellow band member Suga played hockey with “Toronto Maple Leafs legends.”
RM told the crowd about their hockey-playing exploits while wearing a Leafs jersey.
RM posted a photo Saturday showing him in full Leafs gear, including a helmet, gloves, skates and pads.
The Leafs responded on social media, telling RM that “Blue and White looks good” on him. They included a clip from the concert in which RM called Toronto “Maple City.”
RM later gave his Leafs jersey to a fan in the crowd.
BTS played through lightning, thunder and a downpour . The K-pop supergroup made its Toronto debut as part of its Arirang World Tour.
They were scheduled to perform in the city during the pandemic but had to postpone, and last played in Ontario in Hamilton in 2018.
