A 77-year-old man is dead after a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in the Township of North Glengarry on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Just after 3:30 p.m., officers from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP detachment were called to the scene of the collision on County Road 43 near County Road 30.
The motorcyclist, who was from Cornwall, was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate, but they said in a news release on Sunday that initial findings indicated that the vehicle had turned left in front of the oncoming motorcycle.
