Toronto police say an “elderly man” was rescued from a fire in midtown on Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the Davisville neighbourhood, near Millwood Road and Forman Avenue just before 10 a.m.
Police say several homes were evacuated for safety. No injuries were immediately reported.
Roads in the area were closed while crews knocked down the fire.
