A 45-year-old Quebec man was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving collided with another vehicle in Hawkesbury on Friday morning.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to reports of a collision on McGill Street at about 8 a.m. on Sept. 25.
Despite life-saving measures by emergency responders, Martin Duranleau of Trois-Rivières, Que., was later pronounced deceased, an OPP release said.
The other vehicle driver was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure, the release added.
McGill Street remained closed to traffic between Main Street and Spence Avenue for the investigation of the crash, but was reopened on Friday afternoon.
