The westbound lanes of Highway 401 are closed in Milton due to a single vehicle crash overnight.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the highway at Regional Road 25 just after 1 a.m. for reports of a serious collision in the area.
No details on whether anyone was injured in the crash have been released.
OPP told 680 NewsRadio around 5 a.m. that the closure was expected to last a few more hours so motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
